Come and meet me at PetSmart on Winchester at Hacks Cross Road anytime the store is open. I'm in the Cat Habitat area and looking forward to meting you! Peabody gets her name because she was found as a kitten in the parking garage of the Peabody Hotel! But rather than living with the ducks, she prefers a home with people who will love her. She's a beautiful, shiny, soft black kitty who loves to play once she gets to know you.
Peabody is a shy kitty at first - until she gets to know you. So she needs a very special owner who is willing to work with her to overcome her shyness at first and to understand her independent attitude. But once she gets to know you, you can count on her to come up and rub on your toes or your hand until she gets the attention she craves. Then she'll be your TV-watching pal - she loves to sit next to you or even across your lap to get the attention she loves.
Peabody would not be good around children, since she does not like to be picked up and does not like loud noises. She was raised around other dogs and cats, but tends to want to be the primary attention-getter, so she may also be best in a home without other animals. She's ok with dogs, if they aren't "lap dogs", but she wants ALL the attention, so we'd like to find her a new foster home without other cats or young children. Peabody has been spayed and is up to date on all of her shots. Fall Special! My adoption fee is $50.
